Today seemed like a shit hit the fan kind of day for me. Waking up with a sore back and seeing the Starbucks barista with a big bloody gash on his nose foreshadowed the whole day. So I gotta count my blessings or I'll go nuts. Positive things I have going on for me right now:
- spending my summer with awesome kids, staff and volunteers
- having dollarama available to shop for work supplies
- listening to lots of Lagwagon
- having a supportive supervisor
- reading The Beach by Alex Garland
- unacquiring a taste for coffee each morning
- hanging out with my family
- seeing friends almost every night
- improving my golf swing?
- watching micheal jackson videos on youtube with one of the kids
- countless other things
