The weekend was kind of relaxing but not really. I went looking for bees wax sheets for crafts, I found myself lost in mississauga and then eventually found that michael's no longer carries the shit. what a bitch. Dixie mall is fucked just as all malls are fuck. I thank god for online shopping.
I drank (copiously) on my own last night and started a new painting. So this weekend I got some extra painting time in. There is more dead or white space in this piece and I don't know how I feel about it. Last night I had a wine called Sibling Rivalry along side half a pack of cigarettes while painting. I thought the wine was good but I don't really have a refined palette for the drink.
This weekend I also cooked. I cooked orzo for the first time and used radicchio, two kinds of mushrooms, onions, garlic, vegetable stock, chili flakes. It turned out well. I also made a side of chick peas with tomato sauce and garlic which was also good. This afternoon I went with my fam to a restaurant called Sarah's which is just around the way. The food was good and they had a lot of different beers which I chose not to indulge in.
Word up. I gots this upcoming Friday off if anyone is interested in taking the day off with me for coffee/partying/shopping blkablkablka i'm stoked.

Weekend Update
I only have a few more weekends to work before I claim my weekends back. 4 weekends including today. Thank God. This weekend was pretty alright but I can't wait to have the luxury of sleeping in on weekends once again.
Yesterday I went to the Little London Barber shop for a trim. There was a dude getting his haircut and his friend waiting for him there. His friend was making comments about his new hair with a really heavy accent. Whenever he said something the barbers would both start laughing. I seriously thought he was speaking in another language, but when the two gents left the head barber said he was laughing because he sounded like Borat.
In the morning, I met up with my fam in Liberty Village for brunch at the School Bakery and Cafe. I had a four cheese omlette with a biscuit and home fries which were all delicious. Brunch is awesome. Janice and I went shopping a bit afterward for a new hat for me. That was the third time I went shopping for a new one and returned home fruitless.
I went in to work to work on summer planning which felt good regardless of my slow pace, youtubing, smoke breaks and leaving the office for a haircut midway. Things are coming together and I've got faith that it'll be a good good summer... for the kids.

Kraft Dinner Supreme
Kraft Dinner is a great starting thingy to cook something that doesn't taste like Kraft Dinner for ... dinner. If you add the right ingredients, some greens, some candles, along side a glass of wine, your date will definitely be impressed. Add anything you like to eat into this recipe... within reason... it's a sure fire.
Lenny's KD Supreme
1 box of Kraft Dinner
1 can of chick peas
1 cup of sliced mushrooms
1 cup of broccoli
1/2 cup of any oldish cheese
1 onion julienne
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 Tbsp your favourite hot sauce
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp chili powder
Olive oil
Make the pasta. While it's boiling fry the onions and garlic in a generous amount of olive oil. When the onions start to soften up add the chick peas, mushrooms and broccoli. Cover it for a while. Add soy sauce, mustard powder, chili powder and hot sauce. When the mushrooms and broccoli are cooked, add the Kraft Dinner powder and your old cheese followed by the cooked pasta on top. Stir until all your cheese melts and the powder dissolves. If it gets a little dry add a bit of butter/olive oil/salty cloudy pasta water. Serve this with a bunch of white wine, or beer.
